"Loved the rental, however, there are a couple of things we would recommend for a better experience. The pillows really should be changed. It seems like they are very old and overly used, that was kind of gross. It was kind of the same with the cooking pots and utensils, the non-stick coating was all scraped up on the pots and the utensils were falling apart. Given what we were paying as guests (not family members), the expectation was higher and these essentials should not have been such shabby quality."

"This was a fabulous location and a very comfortable house. It was very well supplied, including a first aid cabinet in the bathroom. It was spotlessly clean, and everything was great. My only suggestion would be to have some chairs that we could take to the beach."

"we had a great time here, having the beach right outside the deck gate and the sand fire pit were really nice features. We had a problem with the fireplace heater and CVR came right out and attempted to resolve the problem. They provided an alternate heat source when the fireplace heater couldn't be repaired. "

"My family and I stayed in this beautiful home for 5 days through thanksgiving. The home is very clean, has all the needed amenities, everything was labeled which was very helpful. The beds and couches were very comfortable and we had a great stay. The rental agency was very nice and helpful when checking in and out. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend this home."

"This house is nicely furnished and well supplied. We appreciated little touches such as laundry detergent being available. Vehicles on the beach are not an issue -- the sound of the ocean drowns out the sound of the vehicles -- unless you want to lay on the beach near the waterline. We recommend two restaurants very close by: Old Juan's and Beach Burger. The Point San Luis Lighthouse tour is a pleasant outing."

"The house was fantastic!. It was clean and well taken care of. We especially enjoyed looking at all the different knick knacks that were all over the house. I so looked forward to my morning walks on the beach and that first step off the deck into the sand was the best way to start the day. And seeing whales passing In the distance made the stay even more amazing. We have really fallen in love with the clam chowder at Fins, which is at the Grover Beach parking lot. It's about a mile walk on the beach from the house, which wasn't a bad walk at all. How can it be bad... You're walking on a beautiful beach. Additionally, the brick fire pit was really nice and we enjoyed the bon fires at night. We will probably come back to this house again. My only complaint..... Wifi was bad. We could get it to hook up to our devices but it took sooooo long for anything to load we ended up using our own personal data sources. "

"This property allowed us a phenomenal stay on this stretch of Oceano
Dunes. I brought my granddaughter and a friend to the area as part of our endeavor to learn how to surf! The beach here was clean and the surfing outstanding. The house itself was a delight; much attention to detail was obviously expended to make it comfortable, both visually and for living. Thank you so much, we would stay here again in a heartbeat!"

The kids enjoyed the beach access, skim boarding, the fire ring and renting ATV's. The horseback riding was booked when we arrived so reserve early if you would like to ride. Bring your sweatshirts and pull overs as it gets cool at night. Reading on the deck and watching the sun set with a local wine were the adult highlights. If we visit again, we will call Billie at Vacation Rentals and ask for the same unit. (New plumbing under the sink broke and Vacation Rentals had it fixed in a couple of hours while we were on the beach. This occurred on Sunday Morning. This was good customer service.)"
