Had a very nice stay!

"I rented the property from December 2022 through July 2023 as a long-term lease and really enjoyed my stay. The place is small but very clean, very quiet, and pleasant. The property management folks were very pleasant and very helpful the one and only time I need them, and were especially understanding when health issues forced me to ask out of the remainder of my lease. It is an older home, with a fairly small living area, large full kitchen, and moderate sized bedroom. It is a very pleasant 8 or 9 minute walk to the beach and being that the house is at the back of the property there is almost no road noise. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen is supplied with pretty much anyone would want, plenty of hot water in the shower/tub, and the shared washer and drier is easily accessable and worked like a charm. I fixed a couple of minor things when I moved in but most every thing else was fully functional, if not fancy. The only problem I had was I couldn't find the breaker (it is in a out of the way spot) and the folks a Coastal Vacation Rentals sent someone out immediately. It is a beach cottage, so understand it is very nice and functional but not overly fancy. Really enjoyed my stay and appreciated the nice work from Coastal Vacation Rentals staff! "

"I had a great stay here. This was my first time living in California and I couldn't have been happier with this property. Close to many restaurants and easy walk to the beach. The "couch" was actually a love seat so it wasn't the most spacious of sitting furniture, would be tight with more then 1 person. Other then that it was great!!"

"We loved it here! It is small, but the space works if you don't mind putting a mesh screen on the door so the pups can go in and out. It has a nice yard too! We wish the couch were a little bigger. With the hard arms on it, it's pretty uncomfortable, but other than that, it was great here. It comes with a grill, full-sized fridge, and all the other kitchen stuff we needed. The bed was comfortable with comfortable pillows. The beach is only a 10 minute walk (with our dogs stopping to sniff)."

"Heating in unit inadequate. Had to puchase a smallspace heater after our request was ignored.
Water pipe in bathroom made a terrible noise when hot water turned on.
Smoke alarm in bedroom would go off everytime we attempted to cook.
Parking was bad due to other vehicles visiting people in the area.
