"We have utilized Coastal for about 20 years, or so. The unit was in need of some attention. It could have been cleaner as the floors are always sandy. It seems poorly stocked for family vacation needs too. It was better stocked a few years ago, with pots, pans, serving items, etc. A few things needed to be repaired!"

"We had a great visit and stayed long enough to get to know Cherie, Ken and Jose. Every call was received and responded to quickly. The washing machine was on the blink for a bit, the repair guy came out quickly, and took care of business.

"This condo has a great location. The beach and pier are a 5 minute walk. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops nearby too. It’s spacious and was our family of 5 + dog was very comfortable. It’s full of natural light and clean and neat.
The property management company was very responsive. Some beds had missing pillowcases and there were no coffee filters in the kitchen but they sent someone over immediately to rectify the issues.
We really enjoyed our stay. Yes
I think a couple of upgrades would make this an amazing property.
1. It’s noisy at night if you leave the widows open but stuffy if you close them. Tower fans would do wonders.
2. The kitchen was a bit bare. So if you’re planning to do a lot of cooking, this property is not for you.
3. Most rental properties these days have at least foil, plastic wrap and ziplock bags in the kitchen. These are small conveniences that make a difference.

"Everything was close by and within walking distance. The lay out is perfect for a big family, there is plenty of room. The view from the balconies was great!"

"This place is in a fantastic location. Just a block up from the main pier and shops. If you have littles, baby gates might need to be added to your packing list as all rooms are upstairs. That was pretty much the only thing that was a miss with this property! Otherwise we all enjoyed our stay!"

"We rented this unit for one week for our family reunion along with 36l Hinds A, and B. It was perfect for our family, for the adults and the children. We liked the location--near the beach and
close to Pismo's restaurants and shops. The reservation staff were great and quickly responded to any needs we had. The unit is clean and very well maintained. When we come again to Pismo, we hope to be able to rent these units again. "

"Location was great and place was very spacious however disappointment set in when we tried to cook Christmas dinner and the large oven did not work. The night after that we started the grill to cook some steaks but the propane ran out almost immediately after starting. Very disappointing when dining options were limited due to COVID. Main floor tile floor was very dirty as evidenced by the bottoms of our blackened feet."

"This worked well for our family reunion. It was 2 blocks to the beach and even closer to a little grocery store and downtown Pismo. It is a lovely condo with fully equipped kitchen and nice patio with barbeque. We had an awesome get-together."

"My family had a great time; the entire unit was exactly how we had expected. There was a maintenance issue but the staff quickly took care of it and was greatly appreciated. I personally would have preferred the tile floor to be a bit cleaner; they were as if mopping had been skipped; otherwise the place was very clean & neat. We will definitely be coming back for a return!"

"Five friends decided to get away from our mommy/wife roles and take a trip to pismo beach. I have stayed in this particular condo before and knew it would be perfect. The price was great for five people to split and the location and condo fit our needs perfectly. It was very convenient to pick up our keys late the day of arrival. My only complaint is that, because we came late, we had no one to call when our key seemed to not be working. The door needs a lot of messing with to get it to open. We were a little nervous about what we were going to do. Until one of us messed just enough to get it open. I suggest fixing the door lock so it works the first time."

"This house is wonderful, and I would definitely stay here again. We had a group of 9 and we fit perfectly in the space. I have never stayed this close to downtown, and the 2 block walk is a breeze. Plus the gorgeous views from the balcony are icing on the cake! Only problem was the cable was out in the living room, but it was almost better that way :)"

"We felt the towels and sheets were dingy. Blankets needed washing. Some of the silverware was put in drawer dirty. We were disappointed that the umbrella was broken. The sun was too intense to sit on the deck without umbrella. Also, two chairs had broken seats. The outside trash bins were all overflowing and the area was yucky. I don't think the trash bins had been put out on street for the trash collection. "

"Suggestion to have a binder in the home indicating where are things. Did see the note on the refrigerator. Had to look through the whole house to make sure there were enough towels for 9 people."

"on Friday and Sunday nights it was cold. Didn't use portable heaters, because of the small children. Ice maker did not work.Needed trash bags and the trash cans outside were full(the were not emptied prior to our stay.
In 361 B there was dirty laundry in the laundry room and not enough towels. the toilets up stairs would not shut off unless handles were jiggled.
We love using this property it is our 3rd year there and will be back next year.
I was hoping that we could be compensated for no heater etc.

"Because two of the units at 361 Hinds were occupied by family members, it was an especially satisfactory experience. The large kitchen and open space at 361C was great for meals and visiting. Only comments for improvement: two worn chairs in living area and a teakettle with sharp broken handle. Excellent experience."

"We got to the house at 3:15, when I went in, the house keeping woman was sitting on the couch doing nothing. She jumped up and said the only thing they had left to do was making the bed up stairs. We looked around and the floor was filthy dirty and the counter tops still were not cleaned. My wife told the house keepers that the floors were unacceptable and they needed to be mopped. We left and came back an hour latter. They said they were finished. WRONG. The floors were still a mess but they wouldn't do anything about it, pluss we had 8 people moving in so we wanted to get on with our vacation. We had to re-mop the floor and still they were dirty. If you walk across the floor with socks, you ruin your socks becouse they turn black. Very disipointed with the cleaning!!!"
