We appreciated being able to park in the garage and having an extra spot to park outside. This is definitely a 5 star location. "

"This was the 4th time staying at this house. We love it. You can sit on the front porch and watch the waves and people. It is in close walking distance to beach and shops. Our favorite restaurant in Avila is The Old Custom House. This unit comes with parking in garage and one parking pass, which is very nice when having people visit. The only thing this unit does not have is a BBQ. If it had one it would be perfect. We would recommend this unit to anybody. "

"We were having a family gathering. 3 people staying in the actual rental with rest in hotel around the corner. Rental was clean and very well laid out. You cpuld see beach and ocena from the patio ( block away). At night you could hear the waves crashing. There was a large dining table plus great kitchen so were able to have meals there as needed."

"You can't beat staying in a beautiful condo that is literally a block away from the beach! This Avila Beach condo was clean, spacious, and had everything our family needed for a perfect vacation stay in Avila. The host was easy to reach for last minute questions. The decor and furniture and bedrooms were clean, and comfortable. We rented the second floor condo which came with a parking pass for parking in their little lot, but also, came with use of a one-car garage which was handy because we were at Avila during Cal Poly Graduation and the place was packed that weekend. We loved it! We will rent from this company again for sure."

The unit was spacious and it was nice to have a garage for parking.
One suggestion- The wood trim in the bathrooms are badly in need of repainting...moisture has caused the paint to peel.

There is one steep flight of stairs to carry luggage up and the deck could use a cleaning but other than that, we would stay again for sure! "

"We have rented this property several times before. The property is in a very good location. The owner needs to update several things especially the two rugs. They are old, dirty and stained. The large kitchen garbage can was old, stained and broken. My husband and I bought a new one and left it there. Even that made a nice improvement.

"We brought my parents here for a three day trip down from the bay area. We were celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary that they had missed because of Covid in 2020. This location was perfect in every way. Everything on one level as my parents are in their 80s and don’t do stairs often, close to all of the quaintness that is I have a little beach, comfortable beds and A glorious deck with an amazing view. Had no issues gaining access or are you saying anything and the unit. We would definitely come back again!"

"This is the second time we have stayed here. The location is perfect for access to the beach and restaurants in Avila. The balcony is large with plenty of room for everyone to sit comfortably and enjoy the view. We were able to watch our kids surf from the balcony while we were lucky enough to be there when the waves were good for Avila. Parking is easy and you can use the garage to park in with room for boards and more. Spacious inside and the beds are comfortable. We will definitely return when we visit our son at Cal Poly. "

"We just spent over a month in the upstairs unit of this fourplex. The view and location to the beach can't be beat. We brought our own kayaks and had beautiful paddling trips from the dock at the nearby Hanford Pier. This year we had time to find several nearby hiking trails. Because of Covid, we didn't venture out to restaurants much, but the fully equipped kitchen and deck with a view made dining in even better. The staff at Coastal Vacation Rentals are very friendly and responded to a repair request right away. "

Picking up the keys means a trip to Pismo. Which is a great way to start your vacation. CVR makes the after-hours key pickup simple, easy, and smooth. Their app has everything you need.

We love starting our vacation at the California Fresh market. The name doesn’t do it justice. Our family is fortunate to live in a place that is world-renowned for food. None of it holds a candle to the quality and freshness you’ll find here. It’s so close to local farms that, short of picking your salad yourself straight out of the ground, you’ll be hard-pressed to find fresher food.

Nothing starts a vacation better than arriving at your destination and finding you have a front row seat to watch as the sun sinks into the sea.

Every morning at 10, Doug shows up under the pier, renting wetsuits, boogie boards, and beach chairs. $10 bucks each, all day rental. Give the kids each a $20 and cut them loose. You can see them from the condo while you enjoy a peaceful breakfast together.

When you’re ready to hit the beach, if you set up shop by Doug, you can enjoy the smooth island reggae vibes he jams on his speaker.

After a solid day in the surf and sun, the front patio is perfect for cocktails while the kids wind down watching movies on the smart TV.

And, when you’re finally ready for sleep, you’ll drift off to the soothing crash of the sea against the land.

For our rental, came with large (one-car) garage. House key didn't work garage, so you need to take remote with you. Shared (there's 3 other units) separate laundry facility (not coin operated) on lower level by garage. Did not use the unusual electric grill on the rear deck by the kitchen or gas fireplace (pilot did not appear to be lit). Quiet end of town, but just steps to beach, shopping, restaurants, etc. "

"Avilla Beach is perfect if you're looking for a quiet nighttime locale. The small downtown does not have late night drinking and dancing (great for sleeping). Short Lyft ride to Pismo Beach for that.
This unit has a fantastic covered deck with excellent beach panorama. 1 short block from main beach. Clean large spacious accommodation. We had two couples and one single on pull out couch and it was not at all crowded. "

Truly, the pictures shown are not very good and they would benefit from adding some indoor pics with the new furniture. In any case, it is very spacious, all new furniture, and extremely functional and comfortable for the four of us!"

"House was gorgeous, a block from the main strip in Avila! We got in around 11pm on Friday night, but still were able to walk down and grab a drink at Mr. Ricks. It was so nice to have all the amenities a block away, we spent the whole weekend wandering around the shops/eating/drinking/relaxing. It was a beautiful view from the house and so relaxing to be able to open up all of the windows and feel the ocean breeze. We will absolutely be staying here again!"

"Our family met and stayed in this beautiful Avila Beach location for Thanksgiving. The interior is more lovely and spacious than appear on the photos. The view from the personal balcony was breathtaking.
We used the supplied barbque to grill burgers our first night and the well stocked kitchen to cook a full Thanksgiving dinner. The provided beautiful dinnerware and dish washer allowed us elegant table settings without a paper plate in site. It was exceptionally clean and well maintained.
I received excellent customer service with quick and friendly replies to all communications. I have and will recommend this property to friends and family. I know that they will also enjoy long walks on the beach, boogie boarding, sand castle building, the Bob Jones Trail, morning coffee from Jo Mama's, ice cream from the local ice cream parlor, shopping, gathering around the table for board games, or watching a movie on tv. We all agreed that it was our best holiday, so far.

"This was a great place to stay for our recent family vacation. The close proximity to the beach, shops, and restaurants was ideal for walking even with our three young children. The view is better than the pictures suggest and can be enjoyed from the private front balcony or throughout the living room. The size was ample for our family of 5, and there was plenty of seating and space to have another family over for dinner and a visit. The kitchen was well stocked with higher quality dishes, silverware, glasses, etc. than we have seen at some prior beach rentals. We had a great time and will definitely stay here again!"

"I've been coming to Avila for years, and have always stayed with friends or surrounding hotels. The cost for a hotel is just not worth it over Memorial Day weekend! This year we invited friends to experience the jewel that is Avila Beach, and utilized this property. What a treat! So comfortable, only steps to all the action and very nicely maintained. The patio view is spectacular - a great place to enjoy morning coffee, or pre-dinner drinks and apps. It is beautifully furnished and has all the amenities you'd hope for.
